Taeil Facts

He started taking music lessons when he was only 7 years old.

He initially began as a trainee on the pre-debut training team SM Rookies, created by the South Korean entertainment agency, SM Entertainment in 2013.

Taeil was introduced as the SM Rookies member on October 13, 2015.

In April 2016, the band’s first subgroup NCT U was introduced, and Taeil was among the 6 members that were to form NCT U.

Before his selection as the SM Rookies member, he also performed at the SM Town Week festival held in December 2013.

He is obsessed with brushing his teeth. He brushes almost 6 times a day.

Taeil took Japanese martial arts training when he was in elementary school.

In August 2017, he released a new song titled Stay in My Life. The track was featured in the soundtrack for the TV series, School 2017.

In January 2018, Taeil teamed up with Doyoung for a new song titled Radio Romance, which was featured in the soundtrack for Radio Romance.

In March 2019, he was featured in Sohlhee’s song, Purple.
